The artist had worked for PlayStation's Uncharted series however, it was for a reason, people were able to form a connection. When the game's release date was announced at the time, many Zelda gamers reacted negatively because they were hoping for something else. In a new interview with the Kiwi Talkz podcast, Kozlowsky exposed the source of the rumor that caused frustration for the developers. "Sometimes it's frustrating since it can create false expectations. I believe that was the case when we announced Tropical Freeze. You know, everyone was thinking 'they're working on something like a Zelda game They're working on a Zelda game,' but nope. We announced Tropical Freeze and it looks amazing and gorgeous but then people go "oh, but it's a different Donkey Kong.' And then you know people are going on about it on Neogaf or some other site and you're like , 'oh my well because everyone yeah, thought we were doing a Zelda game and it's like we don't do that. we do.' It's both: sometimes we laugh at it, sometimes it gets aggravating when it goes on for a more than it should," said Kozlowsky. Kozlowsky's words are a fascinating insight into the way rumors are spread and how it could negative impact the reception of a game.
