Players will no longer be able to post in group finder groups for Shadowlands sections Mythic+ dungeons and raids unless they have reached the maximum level of 60. Those who create level 1 characters and spam the group finder, selling boosts and making it difficult for regular players to find groups will be discouraged, as they will have to scroll through a large amount of content to find a normal, non-boost group.
Rather than granting conduits based on class, the Soultwining Crescent and Death-Bound Shard will now grant conduits based on current specialization instead.
Torghast, Tower of the Damned's Adamant Vaults, where the Death-Bound Shard is most likely to appear, are nearing completion.
It is now possible to purchase the Chronicle of Lost Memories item from Archivist Roh-Suir for 2,000 Cataloged Research if you have Tier Three Research with The Archivists' Codex in addition to the Chronicle of Lost Memories item.
The item changes should make it easier for players to gear up their main specs or alts without having to farm a lot of conduits or legendary items to catch up with the latest gear. Despite the positive response to the level 60 restriction on posting in the Shadowlands group finder from the PvE community, it is unclear why no changes have been made to the PvP sections of the group finder, which have also been plagued by boosters.
Blizzard's customer support account on Twitter today announced that WoW maintenance will be extended until 1pm CT. Normally, maintenance begins at 9am CT and lasts a few minutes.
