There has been a great deal of debate about the appearance of the characters in Diablo 2 Resurrection. We also know that the Diablo 2 Resurrected item sets, as well as other weapons and armor in the game, have undergone changes as a result of the development team's efforts. Over the past couple of weeks, we've been hard at work updating the Diablo 2 Resurrected section of the site to reflect the visual changes that will be introduced in the new version of the title. This includes bringing all of the items in the Diablo 2 Resurrected Items PC section up to date as well. Items that have been resurrected in D2R items

When it came to the item sets, we were particularly interested in seeing how they looked on the characters, both in the menu avatar screen and in-game. We were not disappointed. We were able to add all of these new visuals to the item set pages in the D2R section thanks to the assistance of PureDiablo community moderator Dredd. It appears that the development team is working hard to keep as many of the item sets as possible as close to the originals as possible, which is fantastic to see. Due to the fact that these images are all from the Alpha, it's likely that the appearance of some of these item set combos will be tweaked over time in response to community feedback.

Having said that, it is unlikely that they will be significantly altered. As Dredd points out, there are some things that do not appear on the avatar screen but do appear in-game that do not appear on the avatar screen. These discrepancies could be resolved once the game is released, depending on whether or not the developers believe it is important that the avatar screen accurately reflects what is happening in-game.

Currently, there are no plans to release Diablo 2 Resurrected Items Resurrected on the Mac platform. The game will be released on September 23 on Windows, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, and Nintendo Switch, but will not include Ladder. The game will receive an overhauled graphic design as well aSeveral quality of life enhancements, but it will otherwise remain the same game that we all know and love!

After D2R goes live, we will begin selling items and services, with most of the items and leveling available for pre-order before the official launch date on July 1. Unless and until D2R is officially released, everything written on this page iSubject to change and will not be confirmed.
